- Plan, organize an control all activities in the service
- Attend court proceedings and represent the hospital in court cases involving subpoena of medical/clinical records
- Exercise direct administrative supervision and control overall subordinates in the service.
- Establish policies and procedures in relation to the content, control, storage and retrieval of records
- Organize the workflow throughout the service
- Represent the service to top management
- Ensure the maintenance of patient's right to privacy and confidentiality of health records/information
- Serve on appropriate committees and attend trainings which are of relevance to the service
- Supervise the implementation of quality control areas as specified areas within the service
- Meet and discuss with the administration of other departments within the hospital, issues which are related to the service
- Answer by correspondence, emails, or by telephone inquiries regarding information recorded in the patient's health record
- Keep abreast of current medical record practices and developments
- Assist the medical staff in authorized research projects
- Perform other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate head.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Must be a graduate of Health Informatics, Office Administration, Psychology, Biology IT, or Education
- Must have at least 4-5 years of relevant working experience
- Must have attended a certificate course in Health Information Management
- Has had training in International Classification of Disease 10 by DOH
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
