- Coordinate Canva’s translation teams for new and existing translation projects and content
- Manage launching new languages in our apps & websites
- Drive our monthly linguistic QA on all languages, on all devices, which includes:
- Keeping up to date with what the team are building in English and testing
- Making sure the Canva brand/tone of voice is consistent across 30+ languages
- Maintaining test scripts for linguistic testers for each device – Web, iPad, iPhone, Android
- Maintaining and triaging bug lists
- Requires investigating each bug and funneling through the right channels
- Segregation of Canva product-related issues and linguistic issues
- Update “Known-bug-list” as needed
- Update Help Centre articles if appropriate
- Coordinating between translation agencies, and freelance translators globally
- Manage translation and set up of some ad hoc marketing campaigns in tools such as Vero (email), Appcues (pop-ups), Leanplum (push notifications), etc.
- Find gaps and improve processes continuously
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Relevant experience as a translator or translation project manager – ideally you have had experience managing LQA
- Familiar with and used CAT tools/ localisation tools (we use Smartling but other similar tools would be fine)
- Interest in languages – ideally speaks 2 languages or more – bonus points if you have professional translation experience
- Tech-savvy – coding experience isn’t necessary, but technical ability is important (basic HTML/CSS and WordPress experience, and of course MS Office, Google Docs etc)
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO and management of landing pages in WordPress & CAT tool (Smartling)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organisational skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders teams, working on consistently efficient issue resolution.
- Technological aptitude to manage spreadsheets, documents, and collaborative online forums.
- Basic Digital Marketing skills a plus – knowledge of email campaigns, behavioural targeting, etc.
