TREASURY OFFICER  

• Primarily responsible for managing the cash flow of the business
• Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds available for investment
• Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
• Cost of capital management
  1. Refinancing of existing loans to yield lower cost of debt when cash flows are seasoned enough
  2. Mitigate financial risks through structuring the right balance between:
     • Hedging of foreign currency loans
     • Unhedged USD / EUR loans based on economic forecasts to yield lower cost of debt
• Maintain banking relationships
• Maintain credit rating agency relationships (e.g. PhilRatings) and ensure high credit rating and 0 defaults
• Ensure debt & equity required covenants are complied with (i.e. Investor covenants & Debt covenants)
• Arrange for equity & debt financing
• Invest funds (time deposits, purchase of foreign currency etc.)
• Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-term planning
• Oversee the extension of credit to customers i.e. outright purchase payment terms & in-house loans
• Implement and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose sufficient level of control over treasury activities
• Oversee credits and collections to ensure on time collection of revenues and/or other receivables
• Ensure company financial goals are met

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any related courses
• At least 3 years treasury experience for a Medium to Large company that has good financial practice and corporate governance and housekeeping.
• Great understanding of economics, derivatives, hedging, investments, bank account management and international funds flow.
• Keen eye for detail, high organizational skills, excellent analytical thinking skills and excellent excel skills.
