Merchandising Associate  

General Function

The position is responsible for the overall smooth process of Sales & Marketing Department through systematic coordination with Production Division, Marketing Department & Creative’s Department. He/ She shall also be responsible in assisting Sales & Marketing Department to reach its departmental objectives.

Specific Duties

• Reports to Merchandising Supervisor;
  • Coordinates with Creative’s to consolidate seasonal fashion collection & process
  • Updates progress on needed SKU’s & formats
  • Finalize quarterly brand plan in coordination with Marketing
• Updates Merchandising Supervisor & Sales Dept. as to progress of season collection in production
• Coordinates with Marketing Department;
  • Responsible in dissemination of marketing promotions to Sales
• Coordinates with Barcoding Department regarding lacking SKU’s;
• Submits SKU (price point) to Merchandising Supervisor for submission to Store Head Office
• Responsible in keeping the brand’s collection catalogue updated through coordination with D&D Department. Comply with the company policies, rules and regulations and standard procedure established;
• Provides collection guide for approval
• Responsible for the orderliness, cleanliness and safety in the work area; and
• Perform other work related task that may be assigned from time to time.

• Graduate of Bachelor’s/College Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related course;
• Must be highly organized, systematic, competitive and team-centered;
• Must be able to build strategic client relationship;
• With good decision-making skills and presentation skills;
• With strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Can work independently under pressure;
• Knowledgeable in planning and scheduling;
• Can adapt to all levels of the organization;
• Must be computer literate
