The Pharmacist is mainly responsible and accountable for the performance of the store including inventory and staff performance. Other responsibilties include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensures operations are in full compliance with local health and safety codes of other local government agency codes.
- Ensures that the License to Operate (LTO) is renewed a month before the validity date, as mandated by AO 56 s. 1989.
- Monitors inventory reports and requisitions.
- Determines what inventory/item needs to be ordered.
- Monitors quality control in all phases of operation.
- Ensure strict compliance with the rules and regulations re: Senior Citizens Discount.
- Orients trains and develops Store Associates.
- Reviews prescriptions issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers to ensure correctness and accuracy in dispensing pharmaceutical products.
- Ensures that customer prescriptions are being prepared accurately and efficiently.
- Ensures compliance with the 5 criteria for Generic Star Rating as mandated by RA6675/AO s’89.
- Keeps fully served Rx on file for at least 2 years, systematically recorded in the Rx book.
- Assists during peak hours in the dispensing of drugs and other items.
- Checks and strictly regulates the release and dispensing of stocks according to its usage and quantity required.
- Monitors and balances stock inventory and transactions periodically.
- Serves as the Liaison Officer to the Food and Drug Administration.
- Ensures that the company is in full compliance to all regulatory requirements of the Food and Drug Administration.
- Represents the company during FDA inspection and shall appear / be present in FDA inspections.
- Assists Pharmacy Assistants in dispensing, providing drug information, patient care, and counseling.
- Informs BFAD office on any change in business status.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- At least any of the following in Pharmacy or Pharmacology:
- Bachelor’s / College degree
- Professional License
- Passed Board, Bar, or Professional License Exam
- Data entry experience in MS Word and Excel.
- With AO34
