Senior Designer  

We are seeking a highly experienced designer with both online design skills and print design skills. This position will report to the CMO and help develop the overall brand style guide for the organization.

This Senior Designer should possess a strong sense of design and creativity and can adapt their style to match out branding guidelines as well as customer segments.

This position supports marketing for both DiscountMugs (90%) and Branders (10%).

He/She Develops and maintains marketing materials for the organization. This includes but not limited to:

• Designs all print materials including postcards, catalog and print advertising.
• Online display advertising and social media banners to support social media strategy.
• Additional marketing collateral such as packaging, business cards, inserts, etc.

Critical Functions

Print Design

• Develop direct mail materials including brochures, postcards and our quarterly print catalog.
• Develop print advertising materials for newspapers, magazines and outdoor media.
• Ability to modify designs to tailor to specific customer segments (i.e. restaurants vs churches)
• Work with CMO on mock-up’s and creative concepts.
• Adheres to and maintains the organization's branding standards and guidelines.
• Additional print design development as needed for marketing collateral, packaging, package inserts, etc.

Online Design

• Develop creative materials for online display ads and social media
• Ability to modify designs to tailor to specific customer segments (i.e. restaurants vs churches).
• Adheres to and maintains the organization's branding standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Web Designer and Email Designer to reinforce branding guidelines.

Education/Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in a design related field and strong branding emphasis preferred

Background/Experience:

• 5-7+ years of experience Catalogue Design and Direct Mail;
• Experience with integrated marketing and branding. (Development of style guide a plus)
• Prior experience in HTML and/or CSS.
• Prior experience with print design.

Skillset Required:

• Has expert knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
• Creativity with strong sense of composition and visual UI
• Knowledge of web media and technology.
