Software Engineer  

Our engineers take leadership roles in all parts of our products’ lifecycles. We use modern technologies (like Node.js, Golang, and Docker) that match the needs of the products and services but also push the limits of our own knowledge. Then we code - a lot - until we’ve achieved our goals.

You'll be helping us build front and back end systems in industries, such as finance, insurance, entertainment, and education, that are secure, performant, and scale. All of us are constantly learning, and you'll be expected to learn with us and teach others as your skills develop.

• 2+ years of professional experience developing with JavaScript (freelance experience preferred)
• Constant desire to grow and develop
• Understand that making mistakes means you’re learning
• Experience with Node.js and a related server framework
• Demonstrated understanding of maintaining or improving web application performance
• Skilled in writing readable and efficient object-oriented or functional code
• Strong interest in data security and integrity
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Experience integrating services via REST APIs and/or RPCs
• Experience with XML, JSON, or other markup languages
• Experience with Unit Testing
• Creative with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Passion for product quality and attention to details
• Must be a team player and effective collaborator with excellent communication skills
• Some experience with React.js or other modern front-end framework
