Operations Officer  

As an Operations Officer you will be tasked with the following responsibilites:

• Ensures that all transactions are properly documented, processed according to the Bank’s standard operating procedures as well as the requirements of regulatory agencies and recorded to the Bank’s data systems.
• Verifies routine vouchers, input monitors, reports and related documents processed by operations staff.
• Authorizes sending of payment orders and cables up to assigned limits.
• Co-signs and jointly authorizes demand drafts in accordance to signing rule.
• Check reports and certifications required by Head Office, external regulatory agencies, customers, and other departments.
• Assists other units by providing data/information including dealing with customer’s queries and requests and those required by regulatory agencies.
• Ensures proper safekeeping and upkeep of important documents, articles, and negotiable instruments applicable to the department
• Recommends implementation of operational systems, processes, and policies in consultation with the Department Head.
• Defines priorities for own team to ensure targets are met; also works in coordination with other officers.
  

• Graduate from a four (4) year Business or Math-related degree program
• Knowledgeable in BSP Regulations, Compliance & SWIFT.
• Exposure to Banking and Local Market Practices
• Above average written and verbal communication skills
• Must have good Analytical Skills
• Must have experience in handling foreign remittances/cross-border payments
