Tableau Developer  

The Tableau Developer will design, develop, implement and deliver solutions to solve basic to complex problems. The candidate will collaborate with business and enable teams to identify key business requirements. The developer ensures technical quality, accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to timelines of solution delivery.

• Interact with client to understand their business and reporting needs, including the identification of critical metrics and KPIs
• Partner closely with cross-function peers and identified SME’s to deliver reporting projects that solve business requirements
• Strong understanding of Tableau Architecture required performing effectively
• Build and prototype dashboards to provide insights into the operations of a business function.
• Develop rich interactive visualizations integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
• Work closely with the Data Architecture team and provide technical design recommendations on the data mart structures which support analytical applications
• Design specs for BI front end applications including dash boards & reporting, considering appropriate data flow and capture
• Proficient building more complex calculations and presentations
• Identify problem trends and corrective actions and documenting these through modification of existing best practices guidelines.

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in reporting and analytics. 3+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence, Analytics and\or Data Warehousing technologies
• 3+ years’ experience designing and developing dashboards using Tableau Desktop for various organizational metrics and indicators using best practices and industry standards.
• Expert level skills in building highly used & adopted custom reports and dashboards
• Expert level ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies
• Requires a complete understanding of the business intelligence development life cycle including the ability to conduct interviews and gather the needs for desired outcomes for the BI solutions being built.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities along with the ability to effectively present to the target audience
