The Back-end Developer will have extensive database experience and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Back-end data store for web application solutions. In this role, the Back-end Developer will work closely with IT Architects, application developers, functional practitioners, and clients/stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and develop layout for management reports
• Working closely with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and functionality, as well as in close collaboration with backend team
• You will be assisting in the technical architecture design phase of projects to design best practice solutions, assisting with testing of software components and development of automated test cases

We are looking for driven front-end Developers that have completed a technical college education, at least 2 years experience in front-end development and who possess the following qualifications:

• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Frameworks (e.g. JQuery, Dojo)
• Experience with Power BI & ClickView
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies; JSP / Servlet, JSF, Web Services, Spring Framework experience (Core, MVC, Security, Webflow), Hibernate, SQL, Websphere / Tomcat / JBoss Portal products, AJAX, Web 2.0 and PhoneGap
• Knowledge of User Experience Design
• Good command of English spoken and written

In addition, the following skills are a plus:

• Certification in Java / J2EE
• Experience with Linux / Unix
• Experience with graphic design
• Experience with offshore projects and software design
