Operations:

• Follow instructions from segment producers, executive producers, and directors during shoots in outside coverages (e.g. interviews, reenactments, case studies, SOTs, etc.)
• Operate the camera system specifically: turn on/off the equipment, assure proper settings of the camera, well-versed in the following camera functions: zoom in, zoom out, clarity of shot, focus, de-focus, etc.
• Identify appropriate camera accessories for different program formats
• Operate multi/single system camera set up, operation (unloading, assembling and connecting cameras, its attachments and accessories)
• Identify possible impediments to camera movements in relation to the set or technical requirement in order to provide inputs to resolve them
• Compose and execute shots based on the focus and target audience of the story
• Execute camera movements in order to tell a story using a sequence of shots (i.e video continuity)
• Execute basic camera movements, audio operations, and lighting set up
• Composes and executes shots as instructed by the director based on the nature/requirements of the script and scene requirements
• Provide camera specific knowledge and skills necessary to capture footages with the necessary audio/ambiance
• Ensure that the quality of shots or footages is at par with the industry standards in terms of framing, composition, focusing and camera angles
• Demonstrate efficiency at work and display personal effectiveness in working with others (internal and external contacts)

Pre-production:

• Help in the OB van to ensure that the camera which will be used fully operational
• Share creative inputs on camera angles and other aspects of camera operation with directors, executive producers and segment producers

Live broadcast / production

• Follow the director's instructions on camera angle, which area to shoot, which player to film, and other aspects of camera operation.
• Capture the action or critical moments in the vicinity or area captured by the camera being operated

Post-production:

• Assist the crew/staff during pack-up of equipment after the shoot

• Preferably a college graduate and computer literate
• Knowledgeable on camera operations, basic lighting and audio professional experience (familiar with linear editing, nonlinear editing knowledge is a plus) is an advantage
• Should have the ability to work well in a crew environment, has strong interpersonal skills, and a team player
• Willing to work long hours, do field work and be assigned to provincial trips
• Open to program-based engagement
