Contributing Writer (Digital Media Division) | For Pooling  

Position Summary:

• For Entertainment/Lifestyle/Sports//Travel/Music: Conceptualize and create articles for the website
• To attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and network users
• To engage readership with interesting and quality content on the website and on the brand’s social media platforms
• Achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically publishing content and all around content conceptualization

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Able to perform thorough research on various topics and have a keen eye for detail.
• Deliver good quality content like news posts, reviews and features.
• Update social media accounts with the latest trends on travel
• Contribute to idea generation for publication
• Writing of short items for the news feeds
• Participate in ideation during content planning
• Create connections among target communities, influencers, etc.
• Execute content strategies provided by the EIC
• Create relevant and up-to-date content

• College graduate (preferably with a degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Creative Writing)
• With experience in creating content for sports, entertainment, social media, and lifestyle
• Excellent writing, presentation, communication skills (English, Filipino)
• Ability to follow strict deadlines and fact-check information
• Positive attitude, detail, and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Willing to travel for content gathering and creation
• Willing to work long hours, weekends
• Willing to work on a program-based employment
