Licensed Social Worker | ABS-CBN Tulong Center  

The Social Worker will be primarily responsible for the efficient and effective case management of clients being served by ABS-CBN Integrated Public Service.

Responsibilities

• Attend to all clients; conduct intake interview/screening of walk-in clients and requests for assistance through email, phone call, snail mail, FB page, and referrals.
• Undertakes the necessary groundwork for proper assessment
• Provides psycho-social intervention
• Management of cases including development, implementation, and monitoring of case plan for each client.
• Prepares corresponding reports and supporting documents for provision of appropriate interventions
• Establishes/maintains linkages with government agencies, hospitals, non-government organizations, and other institutions for other services needed by the client.
• Provides data on clients being managed for updating of partners and donors.
• Initiates/facilitates client/family conferences
• Monitors the scholar and family condition through the conduct of home and school visit; undertakes appropriate measures/interventions, when necessary.
• Serves as the backroom staff to divisions and subsidiaries in their public service initiatives
• Handles/manages pool of volunteers/trainees
• Performs other functions as maybe directed by the immediate supervisor

• A Graduate of BS Social Work with professional social work license
• At least two (2) years experience in case management
• Thorough knowledge of basic principles of handling individuals, families and communities; pertinent laws on children and family and laws on solicitation of donation/fundraising.
• Skilled in case of management, interviewing, counseling, conflict resolution, stress management, basic events organizing.
• With positive work attitude, team player, shows initiative and adapts to changes.
