Scrum Master  

The Scrum Master is a technology professional that helps the organization’s agility to achieve customer’s delight by delivering high quality solutions through adoption of Agile principles and practices. He/She should be able to assess the SCRUM maturity of the organization and coach them to achieve higher levels of maturity at sustainable phase.

The Scrum Master should provide the leadership and interventions required to allow the delivery squads to focus on what needs to be accomplished. He/She will work closely with the DCIT Head, Digital Architect, Business Analyst, Account/Product Manager and/or scrum teams to convert business requirements into working systems/applications.

• Represents management to the project
• Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices
• Removes impediments
• Ensure that the team is fully functional and productive
• Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions
• Shield the team from external interferences

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree/College degree in engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 years solid experience implementing Agile SCRUM.
• At least 1-year experience as a SCRUM Master of SCRUM of SCRUMs.
• At least 2 years’ experience leading a cross functional team.
• At least 1-year experience on development.
• At least 1-year experience on software testing or business analysis.
• Proven problem solving-skills and ability to successfully adapt to changes based on business requirements.
• Must be conversant with systems development life cycle principles
• Proven history of generating innovative and effective solutions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to explain complex technical topics in a manner that can be easily understood
• Possess the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to seek and synthesize information and communicate in a compelling and succinct form
• Must demonstrate attention to detail in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, produce quality work and execute and implement projects and deliverables in tight time constraints
• Outstanding interpersonal skills including diplomacy and ability to work with all levels of staff and leadership
