JOB SUMMARY: The Branded Content Writer assists in the execution of branded customer content of ABS-CBN News through its official website and accounts in other digital and social media platforms. He/She is responsible for delivering stories that adequately promotes customers' equity through powerful digital narratives to be consumed by various key audiences of ABS-CBN. He/She researches and gathers information, monitors and interviews news sources, write and package news content in the form of text and multimedia articles that are compelling for online consumption and publication.
- Searches, gathers, writes, and packages compelling branded narrative content to be distributed n news digital platforms;
- Studies customers' creative briefs to craft branded content that aptly integrates key communication points of the customers into News Digital products
- Creates concise and innovative headlines, social media copy, video content scripts, and articles body copy for customers' online content
- Audits, organizes, and curates high-value content into engaging multimedia narratives for branded placements on social, mobile, and other news digital platforms
- Makes sure that produced content are accurate, timely, and logical, and are aligned both with the business objectives of the customer and the ethical guidelines of News Digital
- Ensures that all branded content recommended for publishing follow best practices in digital publishing by copy editing text and checking all facts before endorsing produced content to senior editors
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Has exceptional writing, interviewing, and editing skills and has a proven track record creating journalism of the highest standards required in multiple formats and platforms
- Expert command of the English and Filipino language; or one of the two languages
- Skilled in gathering information in multimedia (not only text; video and audio skills are also preferred)
- Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas into online narratives
- Has a good understanding of online platforms and is familiar with social media properties
- Thinks strategically, able to work at a fast high-level pace, and is focused on completing assignments and meeting deadlines
- Innovative, detail-oriented, versatility, and able to shift gears quickly in a daily web publishing environment.
