Quality Assurance Associate  

500 Designs is a fast-growing design agency based in Irvine, California with teams in Irvine (Los Angeles), London, Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Buenos Aires. We design radically better online businesses, define compelling brand strategies, and craft powerful user experiences to convert consumer attention into action, sales, and absolute brand loyalty.

The Quality Assurance Associate will be the point person in charge of testing websites and other projects in the company. We are seeking a candidate who has great attention to detail, tracks bugs and fixes efficiently, willing to learn, outspoken, self-motivated and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports and integrates with the QA process
• Testing websites/applications and reporting bugs
• Developing test plans
• Work with other QA associates and developers to setup build/release process across all products
• Help scale and improve current release procedures and guidelines
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing work streams and adaptable to changing priorities

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent problem solving skills, a love for technical challenges, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to read JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Ability to manually test websites, mobile apps using exploratory testing techniques.
• Strong understanding of web browsers and different mobile device market share, versions and functionality.
• Some experience with accessibility, security, performance and automated testing.
• Familiarity with project management software such as monday.com
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance software such as Firebug or Charles or Selenium.
• A familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Lean, Agile and/or Scrum
