Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our fast-growing organisation based in Davao. CPA and non-CPA are welcome to apply. You will manage a team of Data Encoders and oversee the processing for all the cash transactions of a money remittance company. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Quality check of working papers before uploading into the system
Ensuring all accounts are processed and uploaded into the system
Monitoring the completeness of source files
Accounts reconciliation for deposits held in trust and query preparation
Accounts reconciliation of Intercompany transactions and query preparation
Month-end journal entries
Communication and reporting to Client

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for the role, you must possess:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Accounting Technology / Finance or other related field
3-4 years’ experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector
High proficiency in MS Exel
Audit background is desirable
Experience in cloud accounting software (MYOB, Xero, QUICKBOOKS, SAASU) an advantage
Impeccable attention to detail
Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize jobs
Ability to handle large volume of work and meet all deadlines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to engage with Australian clients
Ability to work in a team environment whilst showing initiative and drive
