Senior Web Developer  

We are looking for experienced and well-rounded software developers who have a passion for and highly skilled in programming and continuously strive to excel in their field.

As a senior web developer, your essential job functions are:

• Design, build and maintain web applications for various industries
• Manage full application development life cycle
• Deploy applications
• Integrate software and systems
• Collaborate with designer
• Lead software development teams

• At least 5 years of recent relevant work experience
• Strong foundation in computer science, software design, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Writes well-structured and clean code
• Can easily adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools
• Can easily adapt to different software development methodologies
• Mastery of the following:
  • At least one server-side application development framework and language
  • At least one client-side application development framework and language
• Mastery of object oriented programming (OOP) design principles
• Experience in database design
• Experience in developing single-page web applications
• Experience in Linux / Unix and shell scripting
• Experience in using any source code control system (preferably Git)
• Willing to and can work well both as an individual and as a team member
• Can effectively lead a software development team
• Good work ethics

These qualifications are not required, but highly considered as well:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Proficiency in the following:
  • Java or Python
  • Any Java or Python web framework (preferably Spring, Grails, Django, Flask, web2py, web.py)
  • Any ORM for Java or Python
  • Any RDBMS (preferably MySQL or MariaDB)
  • Any JavaScript MV* framework (preferably Angular)
  • HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
