Job Description
- Prepare quotation and estimate
- Prepare Material Request Form (MRF) upon PO
- Attend technical clarification/meeting
- Submits a proposal to the sales coordinator
- Prepares and maintains a weekly calendar to ensure timely completion of estimates hitting customers expected quote lead-time.
- Reviews customers documents and understands the scope of work to bid.
- Obtains pricing for materials
- Prepares cost analysis in the database by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor/vendor, and overhead costs incurred in the manufacturing process.
- Where predetermined standard(s) are not available, makes an estimate.
- Informs immediate Supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or database.
- Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, Government requirements, etc.
- Attends departmental and cross-functional team meetings as required
- Understands and supports annual sales plan in support of Organizational strategy and objectives.
- Executes established sales policies and practices.
- Direct contact with people of all levels both internally and external, and will need to work with customers procurement and engineering groups.
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects.
- Monitor & measure customer satisfaction.
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of BS Electrical Engineering
- At least 1-2 years experience in Electrical engineering projects in the Manufacturing industry
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and SLD
- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc
- Project management and supervision skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
