Senior Web Developer  

As a Senior Web Developer, you will be helping in engaging websites that inspires users and meet business goals. You will provide a clear understanding of customer-centered design, user experience, technical expertise and direction into proposals and presentations. You will contribute in reaching and improving team standards and metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate closely with project manager and/or clients at the design stage and finding the answers to questions about why the site is needed, who the target audience will be, who the leading competitors are, etc, in order to ensure finished product is to client specifications
• Produce designs that will be user-friendly to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required
• Develop dynamic websites, web and mobile application using a variety of language and development platforms
• Formulate web architecture with database schema
• Ensures implementation of security principles, especially on E-Commerce applications
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timeline, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Testing the site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions, and fixing errors when necessary
• Involved in research and development work
• Assist and provide coaching/mentoring to other developers
• Organize and manage multiple priorities

• At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Strong background Design Patterns, Architectural patterns, Object Oriented Programming and other development approaches
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to produce quality documentation for high-level design work.
• Experience in identifying customer requirements and developing creative and innovative customer-centric solutions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and occasionally work under tight timeline

• Expert in HTML technologies and web frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery and Third Party API's), knowledge in Bootstrap, LESS, SASS or other equivalent CSS3 pre-processor is a plus
• Expert with at least one well known CMS (Joomla, Drupal, OpenCMS or WordPress etc)
• Deep Experience working with relational database systems (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and OracleDB)
• Experience working with Web Services (REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, etc.
• Knowledge in GIT/Subversion
• Knowledge with UNIX/Linux GNU Environment and BASH scripting
• Can able to tailor LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and deep understanding with Web Server technologies (Apache modules, server-side caching, SSL set-up, etc.)
• Familiar with Agile or any other Software Methodologies.
• Able to execute adaptable or responsive websites from back-end to front-end
• Able to design ERD, DFD or use other Data model diagrams
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, Google Analytics is preferred
• Familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks etc. is a plus
