Job Description
- Material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment
- Counts material, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer
- Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
- Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and report reason of discrepancies
- Complies information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise or supplies and computes inventory balance, price and cost.
- Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price list, and shortages.
- Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
- May operate office machines, such as computer, printer, fax and etc.
- May be designated according to item inventoried or type of inventory as Inventory Clerk
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least in college level or in a 2-year vocational course
- Should have a solid knowledge on modern warehouse and inventory practices, knowledge of applicable standards, equipment, materials, ordering and have a good customer orientation
- Knowledgeable in MS Office
- Can work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Has good English communication skills
- Must be willing to be assigned in SM Manila
