Job Description
- Assist the Manufacturing Manager in collaboration with:
- Marketing
- Purchasing
- Accounting
- Product Development
- Supply Chain and Manufacturing
- To translate marketing concept plan into New Product Introduction (NPI) launched according to set timeline.
- Manage the NPI process for Foam Unit, from the creation stage of development briefs up to the in-market launch.
- Ensure that the NPI project management system documentation is well planned and coordinated with the internal stakeholders.
- Ensure system information is always updated and accurate.
- Work closely with interface departments to ensure driven product and packaging design as well as the changes are Marketing-compliant while giving high consideration to budget and timeline requirements.
- Prepare NPI project update for weekly and monthly reporting.
- Work closely with Product Development Engineer for sample making of Marketing and sales-driven product sample.
- Perform cross functional activities or duties that may be assigned by the Manufacturing Manager in relation to the current job.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in any related course/field.
- 2 to 3 years relevant work experience in manufacturing / supply chain management.
- Experience in SAP is an advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of processes and systems management as well as project management.
- Familiar in different productivity software such as MS Powerpoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven effective in communicating and influencing personnel at all levels within the organization in both written and verbal form to gain key stakeholder buy in.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Business process oriented.
