Job Description
- Attending and on-boarding the vessel in behalf of the company
- Monitors daily situation and vessel operations;
- Reporting operation's update every 0700H and 1900H;
- Processing vessel's entrance and exit at port;
- Processing requirements for bunkering and signing on/off of crews if required;
- Assisting Vessel's Captain/ crews for their additional requirements or requisitions;
- Securing Vessel documents for filing;
- Sending Vessel Line up of their assigned ports to Manila Office;
- Following instructions from Manila office;
- Perform all other duties and functions as may be assigned by the company from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marine Education or equivalent
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willing to :
- work 24/7 ;
- work in Intramuros, on the field, and onboard vessel
- work overtime and during holidays or weekends
- be destined outside Manila from time to time
- work away from home

Uni-Ship Incorporated covers port operations in all the 7, 300 islands of the Philippines with 32 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry. The company was established on March 10, 1986 right after the Philippine revolution. Finding opportunities amidst the political economic crisis, Uni-Ship started operations with charter vessels carrying forest wood products on a semi-liner basis from 1986 to 1995. The company provided service from Philippines, PNG, Malaysia to India, Europe and Australia.
From 1990 to 2005, Dongnama Shipping appointed Uni-Ship as its general agent in the Philippines. While handling a container line, the company simultaneously represented breakbulk tramper principals worldwide.
On 2005 up to the present, UNI-SHIP INCORPORATED is the Philippine Agent of Sinotrans Container Lines Limited and continuously cater breakbulk, tramper, chartering with the additional services of forwarding, logistics, custom brokering, warehousing, trucking and container depot. Thus, making the company a one-stop shop for total logistics need with the strength of domestic cargo distribution.
