UI | UX Designer  

Job Purpose

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with strong interests and capabilities in designing world-class products that provide superior user experiences. The ideal candidate is a generalist who can do both design and front-end development and will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. A thorough understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies is a must.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Product Team, the UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating wireframes, mockups and prototypes based on business goals and user needs. This role will also have to conduct user research and multivariate testing while working closely with other designers and developers in applying the best online and offline experiences for our products.

• Initiate stakeholder interviews to gather business requirements and customer information.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction, and design ideas.
• Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Translate designs into clean and working front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript languages to the highest standards.
• Gather quantitative and qualitative data by conducting user research and usability testing.
• Participate in ideation and design reviews at various stages of product development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Visual Design, Multimedia Arts, or other relevant fields.
  • Degree in Human Factors, Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, or any related field is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in web/mobile development projects.
• Has a portfolio showcasing your creative works and design thinking.
• Ability to take problems, process them, and deliver simple solutions.
• Familiar with UX methodologies.
• Comfortable working with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, etc.
