Job Description
Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes
- Installs electrical equipment which includes but not limited to storage heaters, water heaters, electrical signs, switchboards, control panel and motors.
- Tests and diagnoses electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices and hand tools to ensure functionality, compatibility, and safety of a system.
- Ensures safe and effective operation and maintenance of assigned tools and equipment associated with the job using required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Undertakes other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least high school graduate but with NCII Certification
- Must be able to read electrical diagrams and layouts
- Must have a working experience in handling main circuit breakers and control panels
- Able to operate, maintain and work safely with hand tools, small plant, and equipment
