Job Description
Tax remittance return preparation – local and national
- Preparation of all tax returns/payments and supporting computations for filing/payment with the BIR/LGU
- Generate related tax reports/schedules from SAP/Nav
- Coordinate with concerned groups for resolution of issues/ variances
- Prepare tax computations and tax returns
- File the returns through EFPS/Manual
CWT issuance and collection
- Forward report to Tax Manager
- Prepare monthly CWT issuance and collection monitoring report
- Prepare and issue CWT certificates to suppliers
- Compare certificates on hand vs. listing vs. system
- Receive CWT certificates and summary listings
- Monitoring of CWT issuance and collection
BIR audit
- Prepare reports and schedules for audit requirements
- Assistance in handling BIR audit cases of company and affiliates
- External audit (ITR)
- Prepare reports and schedules for audit requirements
- Assistance in handling Tax Compliance Audit
Others
- Discuss with concerned personnel proper tax treatment of transactions or possible exposures and remedial actions to be taken
- Provide tax advice to divisions and subsidiaries with regard to tax consequences of various transactions
- Perform research projects and other duties as assigned by the Tax Manager
- Deliver a high level of Customer Service through a positive customer focused attitude
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
