Job Description
- Lead the company's web and mobile development team while improving internal processes and planning/implementation strategies within the department.
- Work closely with key project stakeholders to ensure delivery of development projects that are on spec and on time.
- Oversee the full project life cycle responsibility from planning to day to day operations, to delivery, and post-launch support.
- Define and manage manpower resources to requirements.
- Ensure that the team is constantly learning the best practices in software development.
- Direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Work closely with the project managers so that key project stakeholders are constantly updated with the progress of on-going projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development and 2 years of management of front-end development teams.
- Must have a strong understanding of front-end development frameworks and technologies.
- Must have advanced knowledge in PHP, JQuery, CSS, and Responsive Web Design.
- Must have strong Agile project-management skills and proven track record for product delivery.
- Must have experience hardening web and mobile applications against security threats.
- Must have expertise in front-end optimization techniques, dynamic content retrieval, state management, accessibility techniques, device-portability strategies.
- Must have an understanding of RESTful web-architectures, Services Oriented Architecture and RDBMS (MySQL).
- Experience in platforms such as Code Igniter, Laravel and Magento is highly a plus.
- Experience with high volume, customer-centric web and mobile applications, and commerce sites are highly desirable.
