Job Description
- Level 2 – Technical support
- Proactively assist Senior Support person with Level 2 issues.
- Assist customers through phone, email, webchat and remote desktop assistance.
- Products to support include desktop Windows software, plugs in for web applications and webservices.
- Need to be very experienced with Windows and MS Office products.
- Able to troubleshoot application installation issues.
- Have some coding knowledge and able to use simple code examples to assist customers with integrating webservices. PHP
- XML Files

- Internal PC Support
- Provide internal PC support to DataTools office staff
- Assist with setup of new software and PCs
- Assist with network maintenance
- Monitor staff PC backups
- Software Testing
- Test desktop and webservice product updates prior to release to clients.
- Documentation
- Develop guides to assist Level 1 support with resolving customer issues.
- Develop guides to assist customer with resolving software issues.
- Develop step by step guides to assist DataTools staff to perform technical tasks.
- Document support knowledge into Zendesk.
- Record process and procedures to ensure role can be successfully performed if absent.
