- Responsible for sampling and performing microbiological tests in raw and packaging materials, bulk and finished product; conducts environmental monitoring within the manufacturing plant; and documenting all quality control activities.
- Isolate and maintain cultures of bacteria or other microorganisms in prescribed or developed media, controlling moisture, aeration, temperature, and nutrition.
- Investigate the relationship between organisms and disease including the control of epidemics and the effects of antibiotics on microorganisms.
- Develop new products and procedures for sterilization, food and pharmaceutical supply preservation, or microbial contamination detection.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Biology, BS Microbiology or BS Medical Laboratory Sciences (or Medical Technology)
- With experience in microbiological testing in the pharmaceutical industry or any related field.
- Willing to work in General Trias, Cavite
