Job Description
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Develop and maintain a filing system of purchases, shipments, related matters and descriptions of available supplies.
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.
- Maintain contact lists of vendors, places orders, and may arrange for service contract.
- Submit and reconcile expense reports.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Advises staff and/or faculty as to appropriate choices of standard items to be purchased for offices and laboratories.
- Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
- May inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Performs related job duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven knowledge on Inventory Management and Logistics, Admin Functions
- Can work with minimal supervision
- A team player
- Familiarity with Purchasing and Importation
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
