Job Description
- Supporting the business unit in maximizing revenue and profitability through timely and insightful financial analysis
- Directing the Accounting function on general accounting and payment processing, credit and collection, sales and inventory control and payroll.
- Supervising the Treasury function, ensuring the most efficient use of capital and a secure handling of all bank and cash transactions, as well as leading initiatives to improve the company’s cash flow.
- Meeting the financial and statutory reporting requirements and providing management with the financial results and analysis for tracking actual performance versus budget.
- Supporting the business unit in maximizing revenue and profitability through timely and insightful financial analysis.
- Ensuring that appropriate financial and operational controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
- Driving the business process simplification and automation to eliminate non-value adding activities while ensuring controls are in place
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- At least 4 years relevant working experience; preferably gained in one of the Big Four Audit firms, Retail, FMCG, or related industries
- Good knowledge of taxation rulings (e.g. Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes, business taxes) and internal control procedures
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
