What you'll do:
Vendor Management
- Implements effective sourcing of suppliers through the use of different sources such as social media, web advertisement, and referrals
- Ensures strategic sourcing by comparing market prices, and proposes the best option to clients
- Conducts bidding for projects as needed
- Maintains a strong relationship with vendors
Quality Procurement
- Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items from previous transactions and coordinates with requestors for recommendations
- Prepares purchase orders through verifying specifications and price; obtains recommendations from suppliers for substitute items
- Monitors, expedites, and processes requests to suppliers and ensures all items are delivered with quality and on time
Administrative Tasks
- Maintains and updates procurement records, inventory, and monitoring
- Prepares purchase order or bid request
Other tasks which may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications
What we'd like you to have:
- A graduate of any 4-year course
- With at least 3 years experience in Purchasing or Procurement
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Has basic knowledge in Adobe Photoshop
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possesses customer service, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Must be honest and trustworthy
