Job Description
The Documentation Writer will collect, capture, and put into an appropriate documentation all important and highlighted information from the different events, activities, and the entire process of the "Forecast-based Financing (FbF) in the Philippines - Closing the Gap between Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Relief" Project.
Different deliverables are expected, as outlined below:
- Reports
- Inception report – covering the methodology proposed and strategies for documentation
- Minutes of meetings – only key meetings involving partners and stakeholders
- 6-months Interim Reports including at a minimum:
- Description of the PRC FbF project
- Status of the FbF process implemented by the project
- Achievements
- Challenges
- Recommendations
- Lessons Learnt
- Annexes with relevant documents
- Final report including at a minimum:
- Description of the PRC FbF project
- Status of the FbF process implemented by the project
- Achievements
- Challenges
- Recommendations
- Lessons Learnt
- Success stories
- Analysis of the existing FbF Manual guidance compared to the actual implementation of the PRC-GRC-FinRC FbF project
- Annexes with relevant documents
- FbF Records
- Summary/list of files and documents
- Compiled soft copy/scanned copy of documents
- Others as identify necessary by the team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree graduate in English, Communications, Journalism or related courses
- Familiarity in technical terms and vocabulary used in Disaster Management
- Experience writing project and financial proposals, case studies and project/program documentation
- Availability of porfolio of previous and sample works
