Job Description

  • Proactively create & improve existing processes, procedures, and software
  • Manage finance/vendor communication
  • Preparing & closing end of month P/L & Balance Sheet at the close of each month (in Xero)
  • Preparing & importing weekly bank payments to bank for approval
  • Prepare quarterly BAS, and understand GST
  • Xero bookkeeping, accounts payable and payroll processing including; income reconciliations and job tracking; entering of creditors invoices, preparation draft pay-runs for approval; processing of Xero payroll including full-time, part-time and casual employees.
  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Match purchase orders with invoices
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Accounts receivables
  • Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
  • Generate invoices as and when required
  • 9-6pm Philippines time
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts
  • Manage receipt bank (or equivalent) or input purchase invoices
  • Reconcile purchase invoices to creditor statements
  • Prepare payroll
  • Manage fixed assets register
  • Prepare reports
  • Assist with inventory management
  • General admin

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience, with at least a 1 year of experience with Australian accounting, 3 years of experience with Bookkeeping and at least a year of Xero experience
  • Preferred experience with NZ & HK accounting, but not required
  • You must be proactive, and persistent
  • Hard working, can do attitude
  • Have worked with a large volume of transactions
  • Very strong organisational skills, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Independant and can work with well
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets Skills
