Job Description
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, PABX systems, networks (including good understanding in topology and cabling), printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company, might be required to be available on weekends (during emergencies only)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Procuring and managing IT assets (laptops, routers, server, printer ink cartridges, etc)
- Handling monthly IT-related bills (internet, phone, etc)
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, IT Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Must have hands-on experience with Mikrotik products, PABX systems (including Elastix software), and X-Lite Softphone
- Experience from a call center company will be highly considered
- Must speak English
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
