Graduated from college

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Male or Female between 25 to 32 years old
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or College diploma in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management (HRIM) / Business Management / Food Technology or field relevant to the position
  • At least 2-5 year(s) experience in commissary, warehousing, or mass food production
  • With background knowledge of ISO, HACCP and GMP standards
  • Has technical knowledge in food preparation, costing, inventory and asset management
  • Background in operations and production management is a plus
  • Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Must be organized, efficient and possess the ability to prioritize projects and assignments
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency and passion with related work assignments
  • Able to work in a high pressure environment and willing to work long hours
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be willing to work in Mandaluyong City
Job Description

In charge of day-to-day commissary operations including food production, warehousing and inventory, logistics, and maintenance.

A. Production

  • Ensures timely and cost-efficient production of goods which follow the Company’s quality and specifications standards; oversees the flow of food from receiving to distribution
  • Plans and recommends weekly production and manpower schedule for commissary operations
  • Creates and implements strategies for improving overall workflow of the commissary
  • Assists the R&D Department in developing and standardizing menus and recipes
  • Monitors budget and ensures that target food cost is achieved

B. Training

  • Supervises and trains Commissary-assigned staff in following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure professional and efficient operations of the commissary; Responsible for the ongoing training, development and team motivation of Commissary staff
  • Maintain an environment and culture that facilitates learning and creativity
  • Maintain a harmonious team that communicates well with all other members of the organization
  • Ensures that staff grooming, hygiene, and presentation is of the highest standard at all times

C. Warehousing, Inventory, and Logistics

  • Prepares monthly and quarterly forecasts of inventory requirements
  • Prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly inventory reports
  • Prepares weekly purchase orders
  • Ensures proper stock of food and non-food items

D. Engineering and Maintenance

  • Oversees engineering, maintenance, and sanitation requirements of the operations and commissary
  • Monitors and supervises preventative maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facility

E. General

  • Works with the QC/QA/R&D Department in developing and implementing commissary plans and standard operating procedures
  • Enforces company policies and regulations
  • Works with other Department Heads to carry out necessary tasks and accomplish organizational objectives
