Head for Digital Media Businesses  

The Digital Head should have an excellent mix of creative and technical skills. He/She is responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the primary websites of the company. He/She must have a strong user understanding and demonstrated expertise in web content, usability, development and design. TheDigital should provide excellent management and leadership to the Web & Digital Media team, and work collaboratively with staff, management, clients, and IT support.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Market and present web/digital strategies to diverse audiences, manage multiple projects and maintain schedules and budgets.
• Excellent web/digita/social media project management
• Fluent in development optimization techniques to deliver the best user experiences in the most technically efficient manner.
• Monitor and research the social media and online landscapes, both locally and internationally and implement changes, new ideas and best practices in order to effectively deliver the communication and business objectives in line with digital strategy.
• Knowledge of platform creation from brief to implementation - buying URLs to briefing developers and working with team on wireframes to testing site and implementing launch campaigns.
• Developing and executing solid plans to increase page views, unique visitors, time spent on site and stickiness/engagement level of content.
• Implement and monitor SEO and PPC strategy to drive traffic to platforms.
• Take marketing schedules and implement them digitally in line with client requests and to budget

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Graduate of a Digital Marketing course, Computer Courses or related degree

2. At least 5 years of experience in the Digital industry, with at least 3 years of experience as a manager.

3. Work Experience:

• Those who have worked for a DIGITAL AGENCY is a big plus
• Experience in both the development and management of at least 3 ecommerce business websites (preferably using a B2C business model)
• Has experience managing a team of 10 or more
