Job Description
Reporting to the Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Manager of our publicly listed client in NYSE, the Strategic Financial Analyst will support world-class financial forecasting, planning, reporting and analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a financial analyst to join a dynamic, high-growth environment to accelerate their development. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team works closely with the CFO and other senior executives to plan the business and allocate resources to the company’s strategic initiatives. This role will provide the opportunity to join a team of high performers who are leading the fast-paced and exciting shift to the cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in strategic projects with finance leadership
- Develop detailed financial model and business case presentations to be presented to executives
- Work closely with senior executives to help set strategy and drive key business initiatives (e.g., business partnerships, pricing structures, acquisitions and other high priority projects)
- Conduct in-depth analysis and develop understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities
- Analyze and report on financial results and key metrics - distilling/synthesizing key trends and assessing current and future business risk
- Fulfil ad-hoc analytical requests as needed
- Prepare presentations and provide recommendations to senior management. Assist in communications to the Board of Directors and external investors
- Analyze and report on key company-wide performance metrics to the executive team
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in finance, economics, engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business or related disciplines
- 3-6 years of work experience in a strategy, finance, or banking related role with an emphasis in quantitative skills
- Self-starter who can take charge of complex tasks with minimal direction to develop new strategies and new ways of approaching business challenges independently
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence / drive change across functional boundaries
- Great attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable working with large data sets
- High proficiency in Excel - building financial and decision support models
- Work schedules are on grave yard or early morning shifts (either 12MN to 9AM, 3AM to 12NN or 4AM to 1PM).
- Work location is either Baguio City or Manila.
