LOCATION: Remote

Although our Toronto headquarters only has a team that is 30 strong, we have approximately 70+ remote staff in Manila - the birthplace of our founders - Nicasio and Jerome. Our team comprises of A-players with specialized skills not limited to but including web developers, copywriters, graphic designers, logistics managers, account managers, customer service, SEO experts, video editors, digital marketers, marketplace specialists, ads specialists, etc.

WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 AM to 1 PM EST (10 PM to 2 AM PHT) the remaining 4 hours are flexible

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use and maximize email marketing tools like Mailchimp, Aweber, Activecampaign
  • Stay up to date on the newest tools and tactics in email marketing
  • Create email marketing campaigns to promote products or services
  • Ensure marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to prospects
  • Identify the target audience and grow our email list
  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
  • Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features
  • Research, plan and strategize a content marketing strategy
  • Expand audience reach by working with key influencers and driving paid advertising
  • Spearhead our social media marketing campaigns and strategies across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others
  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Manage end-to-end digital projects
  • Maintain a strong online web and social media presence to boost brand awareness
  • Engage with Marketing, Sales, and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Copywriting listings, EBC and product descriptions
  • Retail experience, ideally e-commerce, and an active interest in the retail industry.
  • Write a concise, compelling, benefit-driven product copy.
  • Experience with creative brainstorming: concept, campaigns, naming.
  • Maintains high standards of copywriting and exercising quality control on all copy
  • Create iconic campaign taglines and brand-positioning statements
  • Able to make effective and buyer magnet product listings
  • Use EFFECTIVE KEYWORDS to assume sales and result
  • Optimizing keywords for listings in Merch by Amazon and Etsy
  • Uploading shirts and other products in Merch by Amazon and Etsy
  • Assisting the team in whatever need may arise
  • Researching for suitable keywords for the listings

MUST HAVES:

  • Have the creativity to generate content for social media platforms (crafting scripts, etc)
  • Full understanding of confidentiality and privacy
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Must be looking for a long-term commitment
  • One year experience in Copywriting and as an Amazon.com Product Lister (Amazon product copy experience a strong asset)
  • Knowledge of different tools, styles, and steps in making EFFECTIVE PRODUCT LISTINGS
  • Knowledgeable of Amazon Keyword Generation and Product Ranking
  • Strong organizational and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent written English, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • A self-starter with a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm to learn more
  • Highly creative and imaginative, and able to translate the client’s marketing and sales objectives into creative ideas and copy
  • Researchers and be up to date with trends in digital and social media and communication

NOT REQUIRED, BUT WOULD BE A GREAT ASSET:

  • Knowledgeable in Facebook Ads, Google Ads
  • Experience in google analytics and google keyword planner; it’s a bonus if you have experience in Social Media Scheduling Tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer), Landing Page Creation Tools (e.g. Clickfunnels, Leadpages), Split Testing Tools (e.g. Crazy Egg, Visual Website Optimizer) and Keyword Tools (e.g. SEM Rush, Moz, Ahrefs)
  • Experience in uploading Merch by Amazon and Etsy listings on a daily basis while following the Content Policy

Minimum Qualifications

  • TOP NOTCH English Skills - You need to be able to write as if English is your first language. You should naturally and EFFORTLESSLY be able to write sentences and paragraphs that will convince people you are born in a household that is English-speaking. With your words, you can paint pictures in the minds of your readers.
  • SELF-STARTER - Someone who is sufficiently motivated and ambitious to begin work and constantly has the enthusiasm to find ways to improve and achieve greater things without needing to be told or encouraged to do so. You are expected to test, experiment, and launch your own campaigns with the purpose of nurturing & engaging our audience
  • Social media savvy - if you have never used Instagram, Snapchat or Pinterest before, this position is not for you
  • With at least 2 years of experience or more
  • Must have a writing portfolio
