Job Description
- Execute testing activities in efficient cycles and scheduled as set by the team and program
- Design new test cases based on specifications
- Create automated test cases using Python on PyTest
- Execute existing test cases on the team’s respective tools and/or HW
- Report detected defects, verify correction, and update test cases based on discovered defects
- Review of test cases created by other testers
- Proactively escalate quality issues
- Provide estimation of testing effort needed for assigned tasks during sprint planning
- Prioritization of assigned tasks
- Provide inputs to the team in order to improve test process
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or an equivalent education
- Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to work with moderate to little supervision
- Strong self-learning capability
- Time management/task prioritization skills
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
- Experience with Python (or Robot, Selenium, or any other scripting language/framework)
- Professional work experience in below areas will be seen as a major advantage.
- Programming (any language, but C++ is an advantage)
- SW development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM) cellular and broadband 3G or 4G access technologies (UMTS, LTE)
