DESCRIPTION
The role of the Logistics Assistant is to schedule and implement deliveries to clients according to agreed-upon deadlines in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and schedule delivery requirements of projects and clients with the Sales, Operations, and Project Management Teams.
- Efficiently plan and execute timely and complete deliveries with the goal of minimizing costs.
- Communicate delivery activities and schedules to all internal customers.
- Manage the time schedules and assignments of drivers and helpers and ensure that they adhere to directed instructions, company policies of professional behavior and to proper documentation and disposition of deliveries.
- Schedule inter-island and other external trucking delivery requirements with third-party suppliers as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree.
- Two (2) years working experience in the related field is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
- Must be hardworking, honest and responsible.
- Can work with minimum supervision.
- Possesses good communication and people skills.
- Must know how to drive a motor vehicle and a motorcycle.
- Male, 21 - 30 years old
