Job Description
- Log all incoming claims in software
- Draft email for client to acknowledge claim (usually by email)
- Lodge claim with insurer
- Collate and file all relevant documents.
- Follow up with client for missing details including banking details etc.
- Forward all documents to insurer
- Liaise with insurer to ensure settlement of claim
- Liaise with Account Manager to keep them informed of progress
- Forward settlement details to client and close claim where relevant
- Keep constant track of all claims in progress
- The claims manager will be required to become familiar with some of the basic brokering tasks conducted by existing Microsourcing staff to assist during staff absences and to be familiar with the Insurance business
- Complete excel spreadsheet tracking costs of claims
- Assist Account Managers with processing where relevant
Minimum Qualifications
- Atleast 1 year experience in insurance broking at any level.
- MUST possess excellent spoken and written language skills
- MUST have previous experience in Australian insurance ideally handling claims for one of the major Australian insurers located in Manila
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree
- Well-versed in using MS Applications
- Willing to work at Eastwood City for DAYSHIFT
