Job Description
- Plans the project, in collaboration with immediate superior and top management, by creating a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project to define the scope of the project.
- Develops a schedule for the project completion by determining the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.,) to effectively allocate the resources to the activities.
- Sets standards by determining the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated upon to facilitate calibration and result.
- Selects staff by consulting appropriate manager and interviews candidates with appropriate skills for the project activities to staff the project.
- Ensures that all personnel receive an appropriate orientation and on-boarding to the organization and the project for compliance with policies and practices of the organization.
- Creates work environment conducive to the pursuit of work excellence by establishing clear expectations and understanding and providing positive reinforcements for employees to exhibit more than what is expected of them.
- Disciplines erring employees by coaching, reiterating the policies and procedures, making them understand the violation committed and corresponding disciplinary action to ensure strict compliance to company rules.
- Executes the project according to plan by monitoring the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Develops forms and records by setting up files and uploads it in the computer system to ensure that all project information are appropriately documented and secured.
- Establishes a communication schedule by reviewing the quality of work completed with the project team on a regular basis to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project and to ensure that it meets the project standards.
- Prepares financial reports and supporting documentation using the current project management system (PMS) software to facilitate information process.
- Evaluates the outcome by comparing it to the established definitions during the planning phase to ascertain success of the project.
- Updates oneself with trends and technology of the chosen field by researching, enrollment to institutions for continuous education to enrich oneself and remain as an invaluable asset of the company.
- Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Civil Engineering
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of construction
- With at least five years work experience in Project Management
