Job Description

Join the Internship Program and be a part of the MyKuya team! The Internship Program is envisioned to provide an opportunity for those who want to obtain substantial startup experience. Candidates of this program will be placed in different roles of MyKuya that best suit their skills and competencies and is only for a set period of time.

Responsibilities:

Business Operations Intern:

  • Execute on set standards, processes, SLAs, SOPs and service warranties set by managers.
  • Ensure all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards.
  • Monitor real-time operations and address potential issues as they arise.
  • Provide data and feedback to inform initiatives for operational efficiency and improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Enterprise Sales Intern:

  • Work closely with the Manager or assigned staff member, and complete all allocated tasks.
  • Conduct research, or gather information through surveys or by speaking to clients and staff.
  • Attend and participate in virtual meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions.
  • Liaising with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the company's managers.
  • Updating documents and sales records.
  • Reviewing sales performance against sales targets.
  • Observing and carrying out sales processes.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Assisting managers with negotiations.
  • Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.

Human Resources & Admin Intern

  • Performs administrative and secretarial tasks which includes, but are not limited to: scheduling meetings, procurement, coordinating logistical arrangements for events, and other activities.
  • Proofread HR documents including audits, policies, and handbooks.
  • Execute pre-employment processes and assist with on-boarding new team members.
  • Arranges and coordinates interviews of potential candidates.
  • Updating internal databases.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
  • Assists the Human Resources Associate and other department staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Marketing & Communications Intern

  • Ideate & create fun, unique and informative social media content alongside the Marketing team
  • Collaborate with internal teams in order to align the marketing goals.
  • Engage with communities and profiles on the same media channels, improving audience engagement in all marketing platforms.
  • Understand the market trends and stay up-to-date with the latest news and developments impacting our industry.
  • Explore other relevant channels that could help generate leads for the business.
  • Creatively execute all assigned artworks and/or layouts
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements if necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Able to communicate and listen effectively; great written and verbal skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft and Google Applications.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ready to roll-up sleeves and be hands-on.
  • Initiative, Pro-active, Energetic, and Self-driven.

Business Operations Intern

  • A creative, solutions focused approach, with a focus on achieving results.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Ready to roll-up sleeves and be hands-on.
  • Knowledge in using Airtable is a plus.

Enterprise Sales Intern

  • Working towards a degree in Sales and Marketing or Business Management or its equivalent.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to cope with rejection.
  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
  • Superb interpersonal skills.
  • A professional appearance.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft and Google applications.

Human Resources & Admin Intern

  • Working towards a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or its equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records.

Marketing & Communications Intern

  • A creative, solutions focused approach, with a focus on achieving results.
  • Knowledge in using Airtable is a plus.
