Job Description
M2.0 Communications is a PR company that specializes in business, technology, and lifestyle communications. We focus on public relations, social media marketing, and media analytics, and pride ourselves as experts in earned media. Founded in 2003 with one employee, M2.0 now has a total of 50 full-time specialists.
Data has always been at the core of what we do. Our storytelling strategy adopts a data-driven approach, where recommendations are based on evidence. FGDs, surveys, on-site research, data analytics, and digital listening tools allow us to innovate as storytellers in an ever-evolving industry.
We are looking for a Research Assistant, who can help us build data-driven communications campaigns for public relations (PR) and social media. As a Research Assistant, your role is to gain an in-depth understanding of industries, where current and potential clients operate in, with the objective of identifying communications challenges and opportunities for brands in the space. M2.0’s target industries include healthcare, finance, tech, and FMCG. The Research Assistant would also focus on consumer, economic, cultural, and political research.
Your work will be used to develop campaign proposals for potential and current clients, and you will be ably supported by M2.0’s teams–including Client Success, Data & Analytics, Content & Creatives, and Business Development.
The Research Assistant will directly report to the Strategy & Research Lead, who will lead your training and onboarding during the first month—focusing on M2.0’s data-driven approach to communications.
