Jr. Logistics Assistant  

(1) Retrieves incoming materials from the Airport and Seaport cargo warehouses and/or forwarders of all incoming materials consigned to the company.

(2) Inspects, receives and stores aircraft materials and supplies delivered by local and foreign suppliers to ensure that materials received are in conformance with the quality and quantity specified in the purchase order.
(3) Prepares proper documentation for all received and transferred materials to the designated warehouse and end-users. Updates/encodes MEMIS transactions all movements of the received materials.
(4) Prepares Material Shortage and Rejection Notification (MSRN) for items delivered of poor quality, short of quantity, damaged or materials not in conformance with specifications, etc.
(5) Receives, stores and issues and ships out materials and supplies in accordance with the information specified in delivery or withdrawal documents.
(6) Prepares parts and materials for transfer to other warehouses, outlying stations or foreign repair entities in containers specified by company standards, manufacturer’s specification or regulatory authority requirements and coordinates immediate shipment.
(7) Regularly checks and updates the Shelf Life Control System (SLCS) to ensure that no expired parts and materials are in active warehouse and informs his immediate superior for immediate action.
(8) Pulls out suspected unapproved parts, expired or damaged parts and immediately transfers these to the quarantine room and informs his immediate superior for proper system updating and further action.
(9) Updates/encodes TRAX and the redundant control system such as the Automated Stores Management System and Bin Cards (whenever available) of all receipts and issuances.
(10) Informs his immediate superior of the status and movement of critically required materials handled or of any discrepancy or unusual incidents encountered.
(11) Maintains complete and up to date files of incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
(12) Participates in the physical inventory taking and suggests to his immediate superior actions to be taken in rectifying and maintaining inventory records.
(13) Performs physical inventory of Flight Kits to ensure completeness and serviceability of parts therein during heavy maintenance checks and randomly for aircraft in the line specially those scheduled for long haul flights.

(14) Prepares for approval and signs forms such as Out Gate Pass, PEZA forms, EIOC, Transfer Orders, Repair Orders, etc. necessary to document and facilitate the movement of aircraft parts and materials in and out of the company premises.
(15) Observes standard operating and safety conditions and procedures in handling hazardous and flammable materials.
(16) Safeguards company property under his custody.
(17) Maintains clean, orderly and safe conditions of the work area and the warehouse at all times.
(18) Complies with prescribed work performance and established corporate and department standards, policies and procedure.
(19) Performs other related duties as may be required by his/her superiors.
(20) Actively reports safety hazards and incidents in the tasks he/she performs.
(21) Complies with the established safety rules / requirements.

(1) At least two (2) years college education or its equivalent, preferably technical course.
(2) Two (2) years work experience is preferred but not required.
(3) Must have good oral and written communication skills.
(4) Computer literate with knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
