Job Description
- Test coordinator where you are responsible for application testing in a migration project. This could also be a team lead role.
- Deployment coordinator on large projects where you represent the project and are fully responsible for detailed planning and execution of deployment in the Data Center.
- Technical expert in the design, implementation and deployment-phases of the overall network solution in the Enterprise environment to support non-SOX and SOX security requirements.
- Project lead or technical lead in the migration from an on premise environment to Office 365 and/or other initiatives to improve business performance.
- Build relationships with regional leadership and employees to understand business needs and represent them on the ET Leadership team.
- Develop and Document best practices for installation of networking systems.
- Develop technology roadmaps and use tools to, analyze, perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
- Should be able to conduct network performance assessments and suggest/recommend performance improvements.
- You will also have responsibilities in the Infrastructure Services service line connected to the overall Enterprise Technology Group for networks and monitoring solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Subject matter expert in the design, implementation, and support of Enterprise Network technologies
- Experience supporting PIP and SOX security standard
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS & NX-OS Cisco routers, Nexus 5K/7K, Catalyst Switches, Wi-Fi, and ASA, including FirePOWER services.
- Solid understanding of WAN technologies, MPLS, IPSEC, VPN, DMVPN
- Thorough understanding of networking technologies, including administration of enterprise routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers (OSI layers 4-7).
- Strong OSI layer 2 knowledge and practical experience, including various flavors of Spanning Tree, ARP, QoS, OTV, VDC, VPC etc.
- Thorough understanding of networking technologies, including administration of enterprise routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers (OSI layers 4-7).
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSI model and protocols, including broadcast, multicast, anycast concepts, routing, etc.
- Expertise with various routing protocols such as (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, QoS, CoS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, 802.1X, 802.1q, VLAN, MST, STP, RSTP, VTP, FHRP, HSRP, VRRP, IGMP, IP SLA, MPLS, VRF, PBR, DMVPN, GRE, NHRP, VPN, SSL, IPSec, CAPWAP, 802.11abgn/ac, WPA2, NTP, CDP, FTP, SFTP, TACACS+, RADIUS, SPAN, RSPAN, SSH, AES, CHAP, PAP, OTV, FCOE, FSPF, MTU, ICMP)
- Understanding of network security methodologies as a whole, including but not limited to: ACLs, stateful firewalls, VPNs (tunneling, IPsec, PPTP, etc.)
- Experience with blade server technologies (e.g. Dell, Cisco UCS & IBM) and associated networking requirements
- Fluency with common network admin and intrusion detection tools such as Rancid, OpenNMS, Nagios, SolarWinds NPM, NCM, Traffic Analyzer, Ethereal/Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus, Netflow, Syslog, Radius etc.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS & NX-OS Cisco routers, Nexus 5K/7K, Catalyst Switches, Wi-Fi, and ASA
- A subject matter expert (SME) in at least one networking area: routing, switching, wireless, firewall, load balancing or VPN
- Solid understanding of VoIP technologies, Lync, Cisco, SBC’s, SIP, etc.
- Solid understanding of WAN technologies, MPLS, IPSEC, VPN, DMVPN
- Experience with (VSP/G1000), NetApp and Cisco (UCS, MDS) is a plus
- Thorough understanding of the Microsoft office suite plus Visio required
- Other tool experience is a plus
- ITIL certification preferred
- Financial and/or Mortgage industry expertise preferred.
- Experience in fast-paced production environments working under tight deadlines.
- High degree of initiative, self-motivation and follow through.
