Job Description
- Manage projects through all phases of the life cycle (Feasibility study, requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, closure).
- Perform program/project resource scheduling. Assign team members to projects and tasks, ensuring resource loads are available to meet the program/project schedule. Develop time estimates for program/project activities in order to aid the resource scheduling process.
- Develop and manage project schedule which includes estimating the project duration, effort, and critical path as well as tracking the scheduled activities and milestones through completion.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Management and analysis of issues. Escalation of issues to higher management/stakeholders as needed.
- Analyze risk during the planning and execution phases of project management life cycle and escalate with stake holders in a timely fashion.
- Ensure the delivery of new products or services to the program/project, is to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan.
- Manage third party, FTE, and business contributions to the program as appropriate.
- Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and/or various IT groups.
- Plan the program/project and monitor its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- PMP Certification required
- ITIL certification preferred
- Financial and/or Mortgage industry expertise preferred
- Familiarity of Microsoft based technologies and Data Warehouse concepts from project management stand point.
- Strong competency in planning and executing agile project management methodologies.
- Ability to communicate and interface with senior IT Operations management.
- Experience managing multiple projects or large project with complex inter-dependencies
- Experience developing and managing complex project budgets
- Experience facilitating meetings with high level cross functional teams. Ability to communicate with employees and customers of all levels
- Experience with global service delivery models
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing (in English) to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in an organization
- Ability to work US standard central time zone hours
