Job Description
- Lead and Develop multiple development projects utilizing SQL Server 2012 through 2016
- Work closely with Data warehouse team to develop the vision for database, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS architecture
- Develop complex SSIS packages using SQL Server 2012 to integrate with other SQL Servers, .FTP services, flat files, and non-SQL data sources such as legacy systems
- Help lead the upgrade of key systems such as SSAS, SSRS, and database engine.
- Develop tables, indexes, stored procedures, views, triggers and other objects utilizing latest DML and DDL syntax
- Generate detailed design documents from business requirements and document solutions upon design
- Confer with end-users, peers or senior management to define business requirements
- Establish Metadata, Data dictionary for the key data warehouse environments.
- Help develop and lead best practice dissemination to the rest of the database team
- Financial and/or Mortgage industry expertise preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Proven record of architecting robust relational database solutions
- Excellent T-SQL coding skills using advanced techniques
- In-depth experience with SSIS development using all areas of the environment, including scripting
- Experience working with a .NET development team delivering database code as part of an integrated SDLC system
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / related field or related work experience
- Familiarity with Ralph – Kimball Data Warehouse Architecture
- Experience with C# scripting within SSIS
- Related Microsoft Certification
