Job Description
- This is a Hands-on Role of Applications Systems Administrator who will be responsible for both interfacing with resources & technologies and RoundPoint Information Technology teams to provide system administration of RoundPoint hosted and internal applications
- Support production by ensuring that all documentation is available and accurate in the system. Act as a resource for resolving issues in all aspects of the system.
- In collaboration with the Business Units, establish and refine metrics and measurements to support business efficiency and ongoing process improvement initiatives. Ensure tracking systems are in place to report on metric performance.
- Monitor, maintain, test, configure as needed the Enterprise systems. Own the Engagement Model with and coordinate Releases of updates, Patches, Product Upgrades, etc., and coordinate with RoundPoint BUs regarding impacts and timing.
- Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges; use knowledge of relevant technologies to identify information, reporting, or technology gaps. Work closely with IT Management to design and implement modifications/improvements. Build integrations as needed to create efficiencies.
- Work with the developers in the integration of the Applications with other systems – e.g. Active Directory and BI reporting.
- Ensure that designed or reviewed solutions conform to architectural requirements such as scalability maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability and security.
- Follow best practices for test-driven development (unit testing and beyond).
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Managers on requirements and resource planning
Minimum Qualifications
- Financial and/or Mortgage industry expertise preferred
- Working knowledge of business unit level missions and processes
- Prior experience with Hosted/Cloud integrations, data conversions and Enterprise reporting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC and ITIL-like support processes
- Desired Working Knowledge:
- ERP, HCM, Accounting systems
- Enterprise Business Intelligence platforms
- Database architecture, structures, and queries
- Enterprise Identity management
- Common Off-the-shelf BI, Reporting, Fin/Acct reporting software
